Competitive soccer provides a higher level of play for those that have demonstrated a desire and an ability to play over and above a recreational level. Youth players tryout for competitive soccer teams beginning with the U11 age division. CVFC fields one or more teams in each age group, but the number of teams will depend upon the number of players who try-out.
If a player is selected to play on a competitive team, there will be a higher level of commitment in terms of cost and time involved with the team. Our competitive teams typically travel throughout the region for their league games and potentially travel to several weekend tournaments both local and away throughout the year. A typical practice schedule is two to three times per week with one game per week during the Fall (August - November) and Spring (March - May) seasons. Our teams also participate in one ore more Indoor soccer seasons during the Winter break.
CVFC competitive teams provide quality training and coaching throughout the year to reach the highest level of individual and team performance possible. Our DOC's oversee and step into training sessions and work closely with paid coaching staff to create development plans for all of our teams.
If you are ready for a higher level of play and want to compete against teams throughout the region or the country, then consider trying out for one of our competitive teams. Tryouts are held each June with a year long committment.
CVFC has had multiple state champions and tournament titles, with many teams playing in the OPL League and consistently has teams advance in State Cup every year
CVFC is run by a volunteer Board of Directors and professional Directors of Coaching Staff. Please refer to our coaches menu for our contact information for our teams and CVFC | Board & Staff for contact information for our DOC's and board members.
